The Senior Operational Excellence Coordinator is a fixed term role covering a maternity leave for 9 months and will assist the Operational Excellence Manager in pinpointing and executing process enhancement tactics throughout the Carole Park Site. Collaborating closely with departmental leaders, they’ll refine the operational excellence framework by identifying and eliminating inefficiencies using lean methodologies. Their focus on continuous improvement will align with strategic goals concerning Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery.

Main Duties
- In partnership with the Operational Excellence Manager, collaborate with site managers to develop OE plans aligned with the site’s Operational Excellence Strategy.
- In partnership with the Operational Excellence Manager, cultivate a culture of Operational Excellence at the site by coaching and mentoring site leadership, project managers, and team members on OE tools, practices, project management, and change management.
- Analyse intricate data and business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Deliver clear and prioritized recommendations to achieve specific business goals.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to implement improvement initiatives focusing on safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
- Create and implement educational and training strategies focused on operational excellence for site operations. This involves identifying training requirements and delivering instruction on OE methodologies and Lean/Six Sigma principles to various site teams and departments.
- Advocate for safety practices and policies, monitor safety performance indicators, and actively participate in promoting safety initiatives.
About you
- A minimum of 3 years of GMP experience
- Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Previous lean management experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
