SENIOR OPERATIONS ANALYST – ASSET & SECURITIES TRANSFER (ZURICH, SWITZERLAND)

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive experience in securities settlements, including capturing, instructing, and monitoring orders.
  • In-depth understanding of securities markets and custodian bank functions.
  • Expertise in SWIFT messaging, specifically MT54x settlement instructions.
  • Strong knowledge of Equities and Fixed Income products with processing knowledge of confirmations and settlements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Basic German and fluent English proficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of cross-border merger strategies from old entity to new entity for a leading bank.
  • Oversee and manage Investment Banking and Wealth Management products, focusing on Securities, Corporate Actions, Custody Services, Hedge Funds, Investment Reporting, Foreign Exchange, Collateral, and Data Management.
  • Ensure securities portfolios are transferred between financial institutions worldwide.
  • Guarantee timely settlement of client transactions in global markets.
  • Capture, instruct, and monitor securities settlement orders.
  • Collaborate with custodians to ensure smooth settlement processes.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, ensuring adherence to best practices and high performance.
