Come join the Surgery Business group, within Fisher & Paykel Healthcare and play a crucial role in a team with a startup business mindset. This group is focused on developing Surgery products that will transform patient outcomes and jointly benefit product users in the operating theatre.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who;
- Has an engineering or science tertiary degree
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in medical device manufacturing
- Experienced in operations and manufacturing
- A working knowledge of the QMS, including design controls
- Able to manage multiple projects on your own
- Be comfortable with changing priorities when needed for the business.
- Strong leadership skills to navigate complex problems
- Excellent problem-solving ability, (both through your own independent thinking and collaboration across the business)
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- Communicate exceptionally well in writing and verbally

Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for sustaining the current products sold in the market. You will be part of multidisciplinary team responsible for bedding in new products and processes, and who are mindful of setting an approach that reinforces success for a business with some unique challenges. You will work on manufacturing improvements as well as ensuring design changes and products are manufactured, ultimately reaching customers’ hands.
