In this role, you will review the impact of an existing asset’s integrity management program against business unit operational change opportunities and initiatives within the integrity department.
Note: This is a temporary term of 12-18 months.

What you will do:

  • Working with Business Development, Asset Performance, Infrastructure Planning, Capacity Management, and others, to understand and provide guidance to short and long-term operational change initiatives for specific pipeline, facility, and terminal asset systems.
  • Coordinate the activities of a multi-functional working group within Pipeline Integrity to assets impacts to current integrity management program due to operational changes initiatives, complete and authenticate associated engineering work products.
  • Ensure pipeline integrity input is appropriately addressed in the business unit acquisition due diligence process and manage the completion of Engineering Assessments.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and registered as a professional engineer or eligible for registration with APEGA is required.
  • 6 years minimum of industry-related experience including asset integrity engineering, pipeline operations and project management.
  • Ability to work independently on technical issues may make significant design or standard practice deviations based on depth and breadth of knowledge.
  • Ability to demonstrate broad business and senior-level technical knowledge in resolving problems, project management, finding opportunities and has a keen awareness of interrelationships with other partners.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written to audiences including peers, management, and internal/external partners.

Working Conditions:

  • Office based role.
  • Less than 10% travel.
