Description:

  • Oracle DBA with AWS experience
  • Initial 6 month contract
  • hybrid working model - 2 days in office per week
    Are you an experienced Oracle Database Administrator seeking a challenging role?
    This is a 6 months daily rate contract with our client based in Chatswood offering a hybrid working model.
    The ideal candidate will have Oracle Application DBA experience and understand Oracle procedures, queries, and database schema.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database solution design, establishment, and maintenance
  • Performance tuning, troubleshooting, and issue escalation
  • Cloud Database Platforms and Services (AWS) expertise
  • Evaluation of new database technologies
  • Collaborative leadership for technical solutions
  • Maintenance of a resilient database and data architecture

Requirements:

  • Extensive practical experience with Oracle.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Database Platforms and Services (e.g., AWS).
  • Advanced understanding of database-related networking and distributed computing environments.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for effective reporting and consultation.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on creative problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills in a high-volume professional environment.
  • Experience with Agile methodology, DevOps model, and Product-based teams.
