SENIOR ORACLE DEVELOPER IN THIS PROJECT WILL MAINLY DEAL WITH:

• Modelling of existing data structures in a new model
• Writing validation rules used by ETL (SQL + PL / SQL)

YOUR SKILLS:

• At least 4 years of commercial experience on a similar role
• Very good knowledge of Oracle databases including: - design of relational databases - PL/SQL programming (clean code, good practices/patterns) - performance optimization of queries that operate on large volumes of data (bottlenecks detection)
• Performance tuning experience
• Practical experience in: data analysis, data modelling, partitioning, indexes and compression methods
• Understanding concept of data warehouses
• Very good command of English (frequent communication with English-speaking customers)
• Knowledge of: ExaCC (nice to have) to nowa platforma oracle w chmurze (ExaCC)
• Internal database processes and memory structures knowledge (nice to have)
• Hands-on experience with code containing business logic in database packages (large number of packages with large number of lines of code)
• Experience in performing impact analysis (impact of changes in database structure on business logic written in packages and vice versa: impact of code changes on database objects).
• Practical knowledge of database objects, how they are used in packaged code, typical exceptions/problems and how to resolve them (e.g. discarded package, mutating table)

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

You will join a project for an investment bank and will be a part of a team, where an original idea is being implemented. The goal is rewriting an existing application to a new technological stack. It will be a model with full history and audit, which at the same time meets performance and stability requirements.

THE SCOPE OF DUTIES COVER:

• Planning - define, own and manage, project related and day to activity of the Performance and Optimisation Service and components
• Being proactive in ensuring that the Production systems are optimal by building tools and automated scripts for optimal performance and stability
• Responsibility for the “Build Phase” of the all optimisation improvements
