Description:

SENIOR OUTPATIENT PHYSIOTHERAPIST (BANK)

Bournemouth Nuffield Hospital | Physiotherapy | Bank | Ad Hoc
£22 - £24 per hour ( + 20% increment weekends)
We are specifically looking for a physiotherapist to join our team who would like some extra hours, and would like to work week day evenings and Saturdays in outpatients. As this is fitting around our room availability, the times are fairly set around when there is a room to work from.
Available hours are : -
5.00 - 7.00 pm Monday - Friday
8.00 - 4.30 pm Saturday
Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. That said, these hours can be fairly fixed, if the clinic hours have been filled with patients.
An aspect of the role will involve pre-assessing patients ready for TKR/THR surgery and helping with our new pre-optimisation pathway of this patient group prior to their surgery.
An interest in inpatients would be beneficial and the role might also involve seeing patients on the ward if needed.
Do you want to work in an environment where you have the time to dedicate time & care to your patients? Do you want to work for the UKs not for profit healthcare provider? If so, Nuffield Health is looking for an exceptional Senior Physiotherapist.
On joining our agile and highly energised multidisciplinary team you’ll have a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience across a range of specialties and levels of complexity.
Supported by our Physiotherapy Manager, Tamsin Joyce, you’ll have autonomy to utilise your acquired expertise and skills to make decisions that will ensure the delivery of excellent patient care. The work is exciting, varied and challenging, the multiple specialities will enable you to develop new skills and grow. We actively support you to be the best you can be in your role while also offering opportunities to progress.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND VALUES

With a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, you’ll be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. You will have evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner.
You’ll be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals. With a commitment to the use of evidence-based practice, you’ll also be able to demonstrate excellent manual therapy skills.
We expect you to be a competent and confident IT user and to be well organised – you’ll have the ability to prioritise and deal with your varied workload in an effective and timely manner.
It’s equally important that you share our values. We believe in putting people first and providing personalised, holistic healthcare. That makes you part of a much wider team, working to create a healthier future for each individual client.
