Job Summary:
The Senior Paralegal will be responsible for providing legal support to attorneys in the firm’s fathers’ rights practice. The Senior Paralegal will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the paralegal team, as well as handling complex legal tasks and cases independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the paralegal team, including assigning tasks and managing workload
  • Conduct legal research and analysis
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses
  • Assist attorneys in the preparation for trial, including organizing and reviewing evidence, preparing witness lists, and drafting motions and briefs
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process
  • Manage case files and documents, including organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, and hearings

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree and a paralegal certificate from an accredited institution
  • At least 5 years of experience working as a paralegal, preferably in a fathers’ rights practice
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research software
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
