Due to ongoing growth they are seeking a Senior Payroll Officer or highly experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a full-time basis in a newly created role.

About the role:

Reporting into the Payroll Team Leader you will be responsible for full end-to-end payroll processing. Your duties will include:

  • Processing deductions, entitlements, superannuation, payroll tax, new starters, terminations, redundancies, workers compensation, LSL calculations and payments, etc.
  • Preparation of end of month and end of year reports
  • Providing a high level of customer service while assisting employees with their queries
  • Participating in payroll projects

About you:

You are an experienced Payroll Officer or Senior Payroll Officer with a high level of attention to detail. In addition, you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end processing
  • Experience working in a large, complex environment
  • Experience using a large system
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Full and unlimited Australian working rights
