Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Senior Payroll Specialist you will work as a part of HR & Payroll Team in central Helsinki. Your goal will be to ensure timely and quality payroll preparation and calculation, as well daily deliverables of excellent services to a portfolio of assigned clients.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO:
- Prepare and maintain payroll computation for assigned clients and ensure high standard of compliance and accuracy;
- Ensure collection of payroll documents and other input in time;
- Check the input data documents for compliance with the local regulations and contracts;
- Complete filing of the documents in accordance with the established filing system and maintain client’s files complete and in a good order;
- Provide support to other team members as-and-when needed in ensuring service excellence and on-time delivery to clients;
- Meet established deadlines for each client;
- Perform field work if required;
- Perform client onboarding and system implementations as required;
- Be part of the automation group working on continuous improvement;
- Keep up to date with changes in legislation and inform superiors on the changes;
- Review and check the accuracy of entered input data & output results;
- Maintain good client relationship and attend to clients’ requests and queries professionally;
- Liaise with external parties like auditors, banks and relevant authorities;
- Check on a monthly basis the accuracy of processed information and preparation of supporting analyses of the accounts if requested;
- Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll data;
