Guidewire is looking for a Senior, People Business Partner to join our People (aka HR) team. This role will partner with members of our Leadership team as a trusted advisor, business consultant, coach, and change agent. This position will also drive and influence cross functional initiatives across the People function that serve the ongoing development of our talent and culture at Guidewire.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and translate business goals into holistic, integrated, measurable talent strategies, to be executed across the global enterprise
  • Architect talent strategies that are focused on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent and overall business performance
  • Use data-driven diagnostic tools and processes to develop solutions that continuously improve org effectiveness
  • Assess and plan for the skills and capabilities necessary for Guidewire’s long term success; address gaps and emerging skills needs through practical action
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align our culture and performance with our rewards and reward strategies
  • Influence the design and lead execution of innovative talent management strategies and processes to develop world-class talent
  • Analyze people data and industry trends; develop proactive solutions to further support business objectives
  • Collaborate with other People Team members across the globe in a positive and proactive way
  • Partner with key business partners (Finance, Legal, etc.) to leverage their support in executing HR strategy and business operations.
