While we are growing quite fast, we want to maintain our people centric culture that makes us successful. For this advanced growth phase, we need your experience, ideas and drive to make this happen. You will be the link between our People & Culture Team and the Engineering Team, making sure that both sides are aware of the requirements, new challenges and what’s going on in these exciting times. Your tasks will range from consulting on common people and culture issues to monitoring and optimising the employee lifecycle for your teams. Additionally, you have the ability to notice and identify development needs at personal, team (and company) level and the attitude to proactively create and implement solutions (in cooperation with your Partner & Development Team). You will be part of our flexible and approachable People & Culture Team that is looking forward to becoming even more powerful together with you.
Responsibilities:
- Be a trusted and strategic partner to senior leaders, proactively partnering with them to contribute to the leadership, strategy and direction of the department
- Develop close working relationships and understanding of business goals and facilitate people and organisational solutions which support the business effectively such as department competencies, career frameworks and engagement strategies
- Provide support, guidance and coaching to managers throughout the employee lifecycle, to build a high performance and growth culture
- Support and coach on internal policies interpretation and application
- Know your talent across your client groups. Facilitate calibration sessions, coaching conversations, development opportunities and retention strategies on an ongoing basis
- Be an active contributor to both the operational and People agenda
- Partner with our HR Centers of Excellence with proactive feedback that enhances the impact and delivery of our programs
- Actively work towards continuously improving DeepL as a workplace, as reflected in our People metrics (such as: engagement, absence, retention, internal development, recruitment and productivity)
