- You have relevant work experience within analytical areas such as controlling, reporting or forecasting, ideally within HR and in a high-growth, performance-focused environment.
- You bring in practical experience around strategic and operative workforce planning, defining KPIs and setting up reports and dashboards, ideally in Workday Adaptive Planning.
- You have obtained profound knowledge of HR systems (preferrably Workday Adaptive Planning) and integrity to handle sensitive information and people-related data.
- You show excellent project and stakeholder management skills combined with strong problem-solver competence, seeking out solutions in an efficient and goal-oriented way.
- You work well in a fast paced environment with high ambiguity.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE & THE TEAM
Our People Planning team is part of People & Organization (P&O) and is looking for a (Senior) People Planning Specialist. You will work on workforce planning related topics and will have an influential share in the continuous evolution of our function. By partnering with a variety of stakeholders across the organization, you will be crucial in ensuring a high level of forecasting/reporting, implementing ideas and executing strategies to better address people planning-related business needs and have a major impact on Zalando’s vision of becoming the starting point for fashion. You’ll be a crucial contributor to our mission to support evidence-based decision-making on people topics, mainly through smooth, innovative HR planning processes.
WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
- You are a workforce planning / HR reporting specialist being able to run the regular forecasting process, supporting the annual budget cycles, as well as collaborating with our stakeholders to define our strategic workforce requirements.
- You collaborate with tech stakeholders on data-related topics and continuously strive for improvement of our analytical and technical capabilities (i.e automation, tooling enhancements, reporting).
- You maintain existing and develop new planning / reporting dashboards in our WFP system (Workday Adaptive Planning) to assist management and their support functions in optimizing performance and evaluating investment alternatives.
- You collaborate with stakeholders inside and outside P&O to maintain a regular exchange and ensure that people, organisational, and talent-related decisions are being reflected in future workforce plans.
- You develop business insights and share with internal stakeholders on a regular basis in a compelling and comprehensible manner
