JOB SUMMARY

Please note this role requires Security Check clearance. For further information, please see ‘Selection process details’.
At DWP Digital, we design and develop digital user-friendly digital services that enable millions of people to access the help, advice, and financial support they need. Almost everyone in the UK relies on our digital services at some point in their lives.
Our digital performance analyst community works across DWP to gain insight on how our services are used and how well our systems perform.
We are going through a once-in-a-generation digital transformation - a task of size and scale unmatched elsewhere in this sector. We’re revamping our users’ digital experiences to make significant changes for our 22 million customers.
You’ll join a close-knit team at the heart of one DWP’s highest priority transformation projects – the Health Transformation programme. This team is responsible for both the Personal Independence Payments (PIP) and Health Assessment services.
If you love using data to get people thinking differently and users are central in everything you do, join DWP Digital and help us get this right.

JOB DESCRIPTION

DWP teams need information about how our digital solutions are used and whether they meet our users’ expectations. Gathering this insight helps us make better, more-informed choices. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to turn data into stories that help DWP understand and measure our users’ needs.
You’ll use your interpersonal skills to build and nurture relationships, using your knowledge of user journeys to gently guide them down the path of continuous improvement. This will involve collaborating to understand priorities then supporting the development of meaningful performance measures.
You will manage a small team of digital performance analysts who will provide you with the capacity to provide insightful analysis. You will step in to help with any complex elements of this work.
The strategic conversations you have will generate your team’s projects – being able to prioritise and delegate will ensure we focus resource in the right places.
This is leadership role where you will set day-to-day priorities for the team. You will be a key role model for the digital performance community who will look to you to offer coaching and guidance on the best tools and methods of data collection to use.
If you are looking to contribute to new thinking and be involved in challenging transformation projects, all with a great work life balance, we would love to speak with you.
We care about our employees and can offer you an environment that is family-friendly, supportive and inclusive in an organisation with real social purpose.
