- Using your commercial savvy to solve complex commercial and contractual problems and lead commercial and contractual negotiations.
- Building, maintaining and developing mutually beneficial stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to build trust, influence and communicate effectively on strategic and operational matters with senior stakeholders, service providers and team members at all levels applying a commercial and customer centric mindset.
- Applying standards, legislation, policy and guidelines in the provision of services to customers.
- Advising and implementing best practice methodologies to reduce costs and ensure accurate budget forecasting.
- Advocacy and excellent interpersonal communication skills with an intuitive ability to understand and drive performance, productivity, and engagement, including being comfortable having the difficult conversations.
- Articulating and presenting complex information simply, for all levels and types of audiences, enabling critical business decisions to be made.

Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:
Manage, develop and maintain a wide range of key relationships with internal and external stakeholders and providers to assess and ensure critical contracts and current commercial arrangements are aligned to the services delivered.
Provide an overview of the value for money provided to NSW TrainLink and manage strategic commercial discussions in a meaningful way with stakeholders to deliver tangible and recognisable results for passengers and the communities of NSW.
Advocate on behalf of NSW TrainLink to drive business performance and to ensure high quality performance objectives are met. This requires the ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders responsible for the service offerings provided.
Identify and contribute to the continual improvement of strategies, processes and tools to provide and promote strong service delivery to NSW TrainLink and to support improvements in the cost to serve.
