Description:
Summary: Focused on providing the best candidate experience, the Senior Physician Recruiter will focus on sourcing and hiring physicians into identified roles to ensure a consistent and optimal experience.
Your high energy, attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume recruiting, build relationships, and create a talent pipeline will be an integral part of our operations.
Based in Massachusetts and reporting to our Senior Director of Human Resources, the position will have the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule after a successful onboarding.
Responsibilities:
- Strategically source candidates by initiating and maintaining networking relationships though medical associations, social media, key contacts and visibility at professional conferences.
- Actively seek out candidates through networking opportunities, initiate contact to introduce them to Steward Health Care, and maintain contact to develop a talent pipeline.
- Recruitment of qualified physicians includes initial screening, introduction of candidate to local area, responding to inquiries both about relocation as well as hospital/department questions in order to identify the best match of candidates with the appropriate opening.
- Retention of recruited physicians is based on the ability of the recruiter to manage expectations of the candidate with expectations of the department / hospital into which they are recruited, as well as being responsive to the concerns and issues of the candidate.
- Maintain a current understanding of the market area in order to respond to both candidates and staff inquiries and ensure competitiveness of recruitment efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent amount of education and experience
- Prior experience in physician or hospital recruitment required
