Responsibilities:

As a Senior Physicist, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development, from research to commercialization of magnetics inspection techniques for inline inspection applications, including
  • Conducting analysis & simulation of the inspection and sensing technologies
  • Designing, prototyping and testing of inspection and sensing concepts
  • Conducting detailed design and design proving/validation of the sensing concepts
  • Assisting in the development of data processing techniques and algorithms
  • Providing technical support for existing magnetics based products and services
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary product development teams
  • Leading and contributing to continuous improvement and quality initiative

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have completed a M.Sc or Phd. in Physics, Mathematics or other relevant Engineering discipline related to Physics.
  • Posses strong physics knowledge with simulation experience in the electromagnetic field
  • Have experience of product development in a commercial environment
  • Display excellent communication skills, including presenting technical content to non expert audiences
  • Have deep domain knowledge of magnetic inspection techniques, preferably MFL as applied to in-line inspection of pipelines preferred
  • Have experience as a team leader or manager, candidates should aspire to a future team leadership/management career path preferre
