Part Time Senior Musculoskeletal/ Hand Physiotherapist
22.5 hours MSK/Hand Splinting. Fixed Term for 12 months.
3 days at Buckshaw hospital in outpatient clinics

In this role you will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment, where you will be valued for your skills and expertise.
Our Hand and Outpatient service continues to grow with an increasing number of referrals from our hand Consultants, with referrals direct from their outpatient clinics and post-surgery. Alongside this is an increase in NHS and private referrals for MSK conditions and post operative referrals from the wards. We now need additional support for our established MSK and Specialist Hand Therapy team in order to offer a timely service to our patients.

You will:

  • Have at least 2 years post- graduate experience.
  • BAHT level 1 or equivalent or be prepared to work towards a post graduate qualification particularly in the area of Hand Therapy.
  • Evidence of static splinting experience.
  • Be able to demonstrate relevant CPD activity.
  • Be fully computer literate and willing to use our electronic patient record system.

  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
