Description:

We are looking to find the person best suited for the role and will be considering your knowledge, skills, experience, potential for development and future contribution to the department as well as your personal qualities and how they contribute to building a diverse workforce that reflects the Queensland community.
As a Senior Planning Officer, you play a pivotal role in collaborating with team leaders to plan and manage state-facilitated applications, ensuring alignment with the overarching goals of the Homes for Queenslanders plan. Your responsibilities include collating data to research and analyse on the feasibility, viability, and impact of development applications.
Additionally, you will actively contribute to problem-solving efforts, offering insights and collaborating with colleagues to overcome challenges encountered during project implementation, ensuring alignment with the overarching objectives of the plan and ultimately contributing to the development and growth of the region.
