KEY REQUIREMENTS:

If you like problem-solving and working in a fast-paced, agile environment you will flourish at H&B. Experience with using as many of the following tools and technology:

• Cloud Computing (AWS is preferred)
• Monitoring tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch, or similar observability platforms
• Developer Portals experience
• Infrastructure as Code, particularly using Terraform.
• Microservices Architecture
• Good familiarity with Kafka, Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes (K8s)
• Software development or strong scripting experience such as Python, Go, Node, or Rust.
• PagerDuty, Slack, and related tooling integrations
• CI/CD, build pipelines, artifact repositories, zero-downtime deployment
• Proven experience as a Senior Software or Platform Engineer, with a passion for building and managing highly available, scalable, and resilient systems

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Cloud Platform Team sits at the heart of our business and is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining globally distributed systems and a highly available e-commerce platform.

• You will collaborate with other software developers, data engineers, cyber security teams, and other stakeholders to create a robust and efficient platform that meets the needs of our customers.
• You will have a good understanding of automation, deployment abstractions, and process improvements.
• Our goal is to make our systems better working across system operations, cloud infrastructure, pipeline engineering, software development, and performance testing.
• You have the tenacity to conduct root cause analysis for underlying issues and incidents that affect system performance and availability, identifying and resolving errors to minimize re-occurrence.
