Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The CAA are looking for a Senior Portfolio Analyst to join our PMO Team. Your day-to day activities will include:

  • Leveraging project management experience to collaborate on developing Enterprise PMO standards and best practices
  • Design and facilitate workshops and Project/programme level ways of working aligned to CAA framework, RAID, change control, quality management and health checks processes and tools.
  • Lead initial development, ongoing maintenance and quality assurance of high level and detailed plans for programmes or multiple projects, providing or assuring provision of regular plan and milestone progress reports.
  • Evaluate project outcomes in terms of quality, consistency, accuracy, overall value, completion dates and performance against plan
  • Ensure that recording and maintaining a project database containing all related information, (data, artefacts, documents, reports, guides etc.) takes place
  • Maintain mechanisms to manage change control, risks and issues, benefits, dependencies and stage gate activities within specific projects
  • Provide valuable insight and new ideas that drive the continuous improvement in how the PMO operates and delivers value
  • Identifying and monitoring key performance indicators that highlight capacity / capability constraints and over commitment of resources for particular areas.
  • Liaising with project leads to ensure adherence to governance standards
  • Providing guidance and support to projects including the maintenance of project artifacts (e.g. PID/finance trackers/risk logs)
  • Maintaining and updating programme/project framework and associated process documents to ensure they adequately support CAA delivery methodologies
  • Triage and analysis of data, highlighting issues, trends and making recommendations
  • Support and facilitation of governance forums including the CAA’s project prioritisation processes
