Description:
Spectrum is a critical enabler of our everyday lives-mobile phones, wi-fi modems, Defence satellite systems, CB radios in trucks and new wireless technologies all rely on access to spectrum.
The Major Spectrum Allocations Section is primarily responsible for designing and delivering the ACMA’s high-demand spectrum allocations. As a member of the team you will have the opportunity to lead and contribute to work on a series of allocations and radiocommunications policy matters, including our high value spectrum auctions.
The role offers the opportunity to synthesise and communicate complex legal and technical issues in plain English for a range of audiences. You will work closely with a range of subject matter experts across the ACMA and liaise and engage with industry stakeholders and government agencies like the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
