Senior Power Platform Specialist
Embark on an influential journey with our team, spearheading the adoption, continuous improvement, and evolution of Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Power Platform-centric business solutions throughout our enterprise.
As a champion and mentor, your mission will be to facilitate the roll-out of innovative products and features to a broad spectrum of internal stakeholders, harnessing the capabilities of Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. You’ll spearhead educational sessions, craft concise training materials, and author articles, promoting technology awareness and adoption across and beyond our organization. This role is perfect for those passionate about guiding collaborative efforts, acting as a thought leader and authority, and driving forward the exploration and application of the latest Dynamics and Power Platform advancements.
This hybrid role reports to the Power Platform/Dynamics team who oversees and provides governance on the systems and the various ERP, CRM, and related business applications.
Your contribution will be vital in a company on an exponential growth trajectory, brimming with initiatives in full swing and an array of exciting new ventures just around the corner.

What You Will Do

• Nurture and mentor our Maker community, fostering the development of our business users and colleagues.
• Propel Low-Code/No-Code initiatives, empowering business users to address their challenges using the Power Platform, thereby enhancing automation, integration, and solution development across the organization and preparing them for future advancements.
• Engage in customer workshops, capturing requirements, and crafting tailored solutions using the Power Platform.
• Serve as subject matter expert in discussions with our development and product teams and business users, conduct knowledge transfer, hackathons, awareness sessions, and organize educational events.
• Develop and curate comprehensive training materials tailored to various levels of expertise, ensuring a broad and impactful dissemination of skills and knowledge across the organization.
• Directly involve yourself in the design and creation of Dynamics and Power Platform solutions that incorporate elements from Microsoft, third-party sources, and custom services, integrating AI where beneficial.
• Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and product refinements, including aspects like hierarchy, forms, fields, entities, business rules, workflows, flows, security, and supportive infrastructure.
• Ensure enterprise-wide visibility of accomplishments and milestones achieved in the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 space.
• Coordinate and steer large-scale initiatives, aligning project goals with strategic business objectives.
• Disseminate comprehensive updates and progress overviews on ongoing projects and initiatives within the organization.
• Play a role in various related tasks, including user story creation, end-to-end process outlining, documentation, system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, etc.
• Maintain up-to-date expertise in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure cloud technologies, contributing to the Center of Excellence with best practices and methodologies.

What You Bring To The Role

• Have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in information technology
• Have three (3) years of experience developing with Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Have two (2) year of experience in developing with Power Platform
• Very experienced with the Office 365/Microsoft 365 suite of productivity tools, including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, etc.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform implementations & customizations (Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Virtual Agents, AI Builder, etc.)
• Experience in Configuration and Customization of Dataverse (Security, Plugins, JavaScript, Logic Apps, Azure Functions), and Web API
• Understanding of API or services integrations with multiple data sources
• Experience participating in the gathering and documenting of business processes and requirements for the system with key business users
• Proven ability to create innovative solutions to solve complex business requirements, and streamline/automate business processes and requirements for the system with key business users
• Strong communication skills with collaborative, team-oriented nature
• Ability to think outside the box, with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• A passion and curiosity for technology and its ability to improve processes
• Must be fluently bilingual in French and English

Assets

• Hold one or more of the following certifications:
• MB-910 - Dynamics 365 Fundamentals
• PL-900 - Power Platform Fundamentals
• AZ-900 - Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
• Have knowledge or experience with Azure DevOps
• Scrum methodology awareness and previous work in an agile environment
