JOB DESCRIPTION:
Supports sales productivity and deal flow by securing the technical close in complex solutions. collaborates with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers. responsible for achieving a profit and productivity quota made up of the combined expectations of the sales resources, market, and/or channel supported.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree in Engineering/computer science or related field.
- 3-5 work experience as a Pre-Sales engineer.
- Dell Technologies, HPE, VMware, Redhat, Microsoft Azure , MS 365 and Backup sol. Configuration, Presentation and Positioning.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
- High level problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Build, Configure, and / or upgrade new and existing system components in accordance with customer approved functional design requirements.
- Engaging with customers, capturing requirements, proposing technical solutions and technologies/products.
- Prepares technical write-up and high-level design that describes the proposed solution.
- Conduct research and gain knowledge of all key products and technologies (including competitive market analysis).
- Drive new sales opportunities by proactively engaging within technical community within target accounts.
- Deliver Solutions according to the customer needs including BoM, BOQ, Solution description, and Design.
- Deliver technical presentations tailored for technical and non-technical audiences ranging from IT staff to executive and C-Level.
- Deliver consistent product training, technology updates and key selling points.
- Conducting professional demos and presentations for end users.
- Preparing and executing purchasing forecasts, product/service marketing plans and activities and targets.
- Managing vendor rebate programs and target achievement.
- Managing vendor relationship and building a win-win business relation with them.
- Reporting to vendor on all marketing activities.
- Securing marketing funds.
- Following on product availability.
- Being in sync with market situation and studying market potential.
- Communicating product prices and promotions, incentive programs, and special programs to Sales Teams and to the market.
- Following up on vendor receivables (rebates, marketing funds).
- Investigating new technologies and third-party components and staying on top of technology to innovate new products and services.
- Awareness / Understanding of Products competitors portfolios
