Foundry customer design enablement team is looking for an IO and AMS circuit technical lead to drive circuit pathfinding and custom IP optimization to deliver best in class PPA for critical customer programs.
As a principal engineer, recognized as a domain expert who influences and drives technical direction across Intel and industry. Develops and mentors other technical leaders, grows the community, acts as a change agent, and role models Intel values. Aligns organizational goals with technical vision, formulates technical strategy to deliver leadership solutions, and demonstrates a track record of relentless execution in bringing products and technologies to market.
Candidate is responsible for leading customer technical engagements, deliver custom IP design solutions, and support SI characterization and product integration.
Candidate will also be responsible to support internal and external IP application activities. Acts as the primary point of contact to translates and specifies technical requirements of IP from customer and work with IP office team to ensure proper sourcing of IPs. Provide guidance to address integration queries and technical issues related to IP. Reviews IP performance and quality ensuring it conforms to the desired standards and targets and assists in creating design flows and verification methodology as required. Ensures IP consumption and use model is aligned with the architectural and circuit design intent of the IP. Enhances customer user friendliness with application notes, white papers, and other supporting collaterals. Engages in all silicon development phases including IP planning and TR evaluation, managing project execution relative to the IP/custom IP delivery, and addressing post-silicon development spanning through tapein, stepping, and PRQ. Supports technical definition of vendor statement of work. Establishes clear and consistent technical design content/collateral requirements.
Experience and abilities:
Must have 15+ years of experience in leading advanced circuit pathfinding, testchip development, and design validation for leading technology nodes.
Ability to drive word class AMS design solutions that take full advantage of innovation design and technology co-optimization
Self-motivated and detail-oriented, capable of articulating complex concepts and solutions.
Highly collaborative, customer-centric, influential leader with demonstrated success to secure supports and guide cross-functional teams in achieving goals.
Experience with Intel process technology, intel3, intel 18a are strong plus

QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate must possess a Ph.D degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field of study
