Description:

A vacancy has arisen for a Process Development & Integration Engineer working in the Integration team.

EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES

  • Able to assist in planning future equipment improvements and upgrades – in line with agreed technology roadmap.
  • Requires understanding of the process flow, module interactions and key module specifications.
  • Previous experience within a process integration engineering role, or within more than one area, or discipline (Ideally one should be dry etch, films, metrology or CMP), within a semiconductor or LED company is essential.
  • Knowledge of Design of Experiments - DOE - methodology is essential.
  • Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control - SPC - is essential.
  • Compound semiconduction knowledge is desirable but not essential.
    The hours will be 08:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday, with the potential of moving to a shift pattern which involves working one weekend in three.

Responsibilities:

  • Process recipe specification and agreement with process tool owner.
  • To specify testing and validation of process modules.
  • Understanding of process recipe dependencies within process modules.
  • Coordination of experimental splits on lots and boundary studies.
  • Data analysis of experimental lots and comparison to baseline.
  • Reporting experimental split lot results.
  • To monitor and maintain the activity of critical development lots.
  • New tool procurement documents/ specifications.
  • Forward planning of development lots and ensuring 48h look ahead has been in place.
