Description:
Paramount is searching for a Senior Privacy Analyst to join the Paramount Global Privacy Group! We are responsible for a wide range of multi-functional privacy and data protection projects and are a team of privacy professionals supporting all of Paramount’s divisions globally.
The Senior Privacy Analyst will play a key role on the team that envisions, designs, develops, and implements a pragmatic data privacy and data protection program! You will be a subject-matter guide in the frameworks and tools of modern data privacy.
You will bring expertise to various business functions by learning how they build value using personal information and act as an advisor to educate teams on privacy risks. You’ll be working in close collaboration with teams throughout the company and will help us to develop and support scalable tools and processes to keep the data of the people who use our services safe. This position can accommodate a fully remote setup; ideally, you will reside on the East Coast.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience working in a privacy program using privacy technologies.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field, ideally Information Systems or Computer Science.
- Knowledge of global and US privacy laws including the GDPR and the CCPA.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Technical capability (i.e JavaScript) to communicate seamlessly with technical authorities.
- Innovative and forward-thinking with a passion for Media, Tech, and Privacy.
- Ability to develop compelling, detailed documentation that sets collaborators up for success.
- Strong program management skills and shown enterprise scale experience leading multiple, complex projects simultaneously to successful completion.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals is a plus.
- Previous experience with Jira, MS Office Suite, and One Trust.
- Understanding of data-related initiatives such as ingestion, report and dashboard creation, analytics, and site tracking implementation
- Knowledge of the online advertising ecosystem including programmatic technologies and platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to partner with multi-functional teams toward task completion.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in a variety of projects related to the implementation of our Privacy Program, including in the areas of privacy rights, privacy preferences management, and privacy risk assessments.
- Provide project management support for exciting initiatives handled by the Privacy Group.
- Work with Legal, Product, Engineering, and various collaborators to scope, prioritize, and coordinate development efforts with data protection and privacy laws, advertising industries, and related requirements.
- Address integration issues and assist in removing impediments for the team.
- Monitor data privacy laws and regulations.
- Develop relationships with multiple partners across the organization, to accelerate efficiency and deliver impactful results.
- Help build awareness and develop training materials for the organization’s education.
