TalentWorld is recruiting a Senior Privacy Policy Analyst in Toronto, Ontario for one of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop privacy impact assessments for key healthcare initiatives.
- Lead discussions with stakeholders to address privacy considerations.
- Analyze program proposals for privacy risks and compliance.
- Provide technical advice on data protection and security.
- Develop processes to ensure proper handling of personal health information.
- Advise project teams on privacy legislation and regulations.
- Identify and recommend strategies for addressing emerging privacy issues.
- Participate in planning solutions to support healthcare initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in privacy impact assessment methodologies, with a focus on healthcare projects in the public sector is a must.
- Strong understanding of privacy legislation, particularly the Personal Health Information Privacy Act (PHIPA).
- Proven ability to lead risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Certification in privacy or information security preferred.
Employment Details
- Salary: $80.00HR - $90.00HR
- Benefits: 37 hours weekly, Contract, Hybrid
- Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday
- Other: 12 months contract, possibility of extension
