Description:

Company
thyssenkrupp Uhde combines unique technological expertise and decades of global experience in the engineering, procurement, construction and service of chemical plants. We develop innovative processes and products for a more sustainable future and thus contribute to the long-term success of our customers in almost all areas of the chemical industry. Our portfolio includes leading technologies for the production of base chemicals, fertilizers and polymers as well as complete value chains for green hydrogen and sustainable chemicals.

Responsibilities:

With decades of experience and more than 100 gasifiers built, the current uhdeentrained-flow gasification process (also known as PRENFLO gasification) is the result of continuous development and optimization. The suitability of the PRENFLO technology for biomass gasification was impressively demonstrated with the BioTfueLdemonstration plant in Dunkirk, France. With this excellent market position for biomass gasification, Uhde is now contributing to a more sustainable production of chemicals and fuels.
Become a part of it!

  • You carry out process simulations and optimizations for the overall process and individual process steps
  • You create material and energy balances, process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams and develop process design data for the individual components of the systems
  • You conduct technical negotiations and communicate directly with customers and suppliers
  • You assist our customers during start-up of the process plants on worldwide construction sites
  • You work on R&D projects for the further development of the technology.
