Join a team of dedicated Process Engineers and Technicians
At our Pilot Plant in Mørdrup, you will join one of our teams of highly skilled engineers and technicians in Continence and Bowel Care department. The department consists of 3 teams. You will be a part of one of the teams.
We form the bridge between concept development and full-scale production at our international sites, by developing and specifying processes that are scalable and designed for manufacturing.
“It is a key requisite role as you will be part of a team that works together to ensure that we bring the best process solution for new equipment’s into play in our development projects” explains Team Managers, Brigitta Bigi Predojevic and Team Manager Bertil Høyer-Hansen.
Experienced Process Engineer who will be a part of the projects with material and process expertise
We are looking for an experienced Material specialist with Process knowledge and a technical background. You have a statistical understanding and are familiar with analyzing results to support data-based decisions i.e., using Six Sigma/Sas jmp.
You will work on cross-functional development projects and collaborate closely with designers, project managers, mechanical engineers, material specialists and other specialists and skilled workers in the project teams, to make all aspects come together.

Responsibilities:

You will be a part of the project team, with material and polymer knowledge to support and integrate your knowledge together with colleagues across other R&D departments
Responsible for exploring new process technologies, develop and mature processes for new material verification and equipment in product development projects within Continence Care
Are familiar with DOE tests and process data statistically. You have an analytical approach to data analyze
Include sustainability and modularity in our new product development phase, with a focus on materials and polymers
Help transfer knowledge of processes and equipment to our international volume sites
Knowledge regarding materials and polymers
Analytical and structured approach to problem solving and documentation
Qualifications
Technical or chemical background as engineer (Bachelor or Master) within processing of polymeric material
Statistical understanding i.e., using Six Sigma e.g. Sas jmp
Have some experience with applied materials science, polymer chemistry, organic chemistry or similar
Sustainability is on Coloplast agenda, at it is an advantage if you have prior experience within this
Experience with maturing new processes and production equipment
Experience with troubleshooting and process optimization
Solid written and spoken skills in English as well as the ability to communicate with peers and stakeholders across the organization and members of senior management
Danish will be an advantage, but not required
In periods be able to travel, primarily to our volume sites in Hungary, Coats Rica or Portugal
