Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Procurement Agent Manager (Level M) to join our System Chain Operations Interiors team in Everett, Washington.
This position leads/oversees a team of Procurement Agents in managing overall supplier performance in support of the Suppliers, Boeing Programs, and our Airline Customers.
This role requires partnership with Leaders across the enterprise and an active member of the BCA (Boeing Commercial Airplane) Supply Chain team. This position will discover new opportunities and solutions for business problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes, and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE):

  • 5+ years of experience in contracts, procurement and/or supply chain processes
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
  • 5+ years of experience establishing positive relationships and strong on-going communication with customers, partners, peers, and suppliers
  • 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools such as word, excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience reporting status and recommendations to senior and executive leadership
  • 3+ years of experience using data to develop contract and/or procurement strategies and recommendations
  • 3+ years of experience drafting and negotiating contractual terms and conditions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Manages Procurement Agent employees and mid-level managers performing activities related to committing company resources to purchase goods and services, developing supplier. strategies, development of bid packages, proposal analysis, and development of contracts.
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.
