Description:

ABOUT US

One team. Global challenges. Infinite opportunities. At Viasat, we’re on a mission to deliver connections with the capacity to change the world. For more than 35 years, Viasat has helped shape how consumers, businesses, governments and militaries around the globe communicate. We’re looking for people who think big, act fearlessly, and create an inclusive environment that drives positive impact to join our team.

CORPORATE OFFICE

Viasat’s Corporate Office aims to leverage the groups scale to sustainably improve our operational efficiency. Global Procurement is key in achieving this aim.
After establishing a Global Procurement function some 5 years ago, Viasat is evolving the team’s role and focus to further develop our strategic procurement capabilities; identify and implement cost control opportunities across the business, maximise the potential for synergies via the Inmarsat/Viasat integration and use technologies to maximise the effectiveness of the team.
Procurement focuses on areas where the most value can be achieved by taking a balanced risk based approach to projects; implementing fit for purpose policies and processes and then managing suppliers and relationships to get the most out of them. Ultimately to be seen internally and externally as a team that adds value to all business units and not a team that just runs processes.
