Responsibilities

• You develop the procurement portfolio for technical purchasing based on the general procurement strategy
• You are responsible for the overall strategy for technical purchasing, including the sourcing strategy in coordination with the technical departments
• You will manage the entire Oxeno technical portfolio for technical purchasing
• As site coordinator (Procurement), you will be responsible for the Marl and Antwerp sites
• You will independently select external purchasing service providers and evaluate them according to your own defined criteria
• You will analyse and forecast the development of the Oxeno purchasing process and define the corresponding contract requirements
• You create and revise contracts for the business unit and negotiate service level agreements
• You plan, coordinate and monitor the execution of major technical orders and ensure compliance with company standards
• You liaise with internal purchasing at Group level as well as with external service providers and review and report the results
• You will optimise and implement measures to reduce costs, implement risk management strategies and promote synergies between different product groups
• You provide technical guidance to your team in order to develop strategy- and business plan-orientated recommendations for action
• You sensitise your stakeholders in order to achieve the business objectives

Requirements :

• You have a Master’s degree in business administration, engineering, supply chain management, logistics or are a technician with in-depth knowledge of purchasing
• You have at least five years of professional experience
• You have excellent knowledge of project work and are proficient in MS Office and SAP S4 Hana
• You are characterised by your very good professional leadership style, in which you convey innovative solutions from the purchasing department
• You question processes and working methods and optimise them using your best-practice experience in the field of technical purchasing
• You are business fluent in German and have very good written and spoken English skills
• You are a team player with a talent for communication, cooperation and negotiation skills
• You have strong analytical skills and an affinity for numbers, coupled with a strong technical understanding
• You drive projects forward on your own initiative and convince others of your ideas
• You occasionally travel on business
