Description:
Responsibilities:
- You’ll lead the annual Category Planning (strategy) cycle for complex, high value and/or high-risk categories to identify demand, specification and supply chain opportunities by understanding category cost drivers, markets, innovation and risks.
- Engagement with senior partners to influence the conversion of category plans to deliver a pipeline of savings and value that’s aligned to the business strategy.
- Lead complex end-to-end sourcing activity including sourcing plan, tenders (RFI/RFP), complex supplier negotiations and implement contract arrangements.
- You’ll support all commercial aspects of implementation, including onboarding and exit of suppliers, change management requests and work with Commercial Managers on ongoing supplier management issues and disputes.
- Operate in a regulated industry.
- Coach/manage sourcing managers to set goals, manage workload and performance reviews
