Organon is looking for a: Senior Procurement Specialist - Central Northern Europe (CNE).
The Organon Global Procurement & Supplier Management (GPSM) organization partners with the business to develop and implement innovative and fit for purpose sourcing strategies, external partnerships, and robust supplier management to maximize value for Organon.
The Senior Procurement Specialist CNE - reporting to the Associate Director, Procurement Lead CNE- will support Sourcing & Procurement for the CNE cluster. This cluster includes the markets of Germany, Austria, UK, Ireland, the Netherlands and the Nordics (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Significant years of procurement working experience with category knowledge across indirect categories and experience working in an international and cross-functional environment
  • Experience in the Pharma industry is considered a big plus
  • Category-management, sourcing, contract-negotiation & Supplier Relationship Management skills
  • Advanced Stakeholder partnering skills
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze large complex data sets to derive relevant intelligence in developing sourcing strategies or supporting negotiations
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment Demonstrated ability to think out of the box and find innovative solutions whilst working in an ambiguous, transformational business environment
  • Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Creative, self-starter and bias for action.
  • English language fluency - with additional language German/Dutch preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Work with business stakeholders in departments like Marketing, Sales, Commercial Operations, Medical and Corporate affairs aligning their business strategy with procurement objectives and global sourcing strategy and work closely together with Legal, Finance and compliance.
  • Contribute to increasing value delivery for the business, including cost savings, working capital and process simplification and will work in close collaboration with the procurement operations hub in Lisbon and support functions to ensure excellent procurement support for the CNE cluster.
  • Act as a strategic business partner; engages with business stakeholders and partners to define and meet or exceed business requirements and identify savings opportunities and other opportunities to drive value for the organization.
  • Review and support opportunities for all indirect categories; work with the business to drive different category initiatives in the region and ensure strong governance to prevailing regulations, policies and processes.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and managing key supplier performance against business requirements to improve value delivery.
