Description:

As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements, identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise procurement processes and maximise value for the organisation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and procurement software/tools.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS) are a bonus.

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct supplier negotiations, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in procurement.
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams on procurement projects and initiatives.
  • Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management.
