Product and Service Designer (m/f/d)
In the role of Product and Service Designer (m/f/d) presents an exciting opportunity to impact the lives of our store opticians and customers. As a Product and Service Designer, you’ll contribute to our omnichannel experience by focusing on store processes and digital touchpoints. Your role will be pivotal in connecting our stores, production center, and online experience.
As a member of the UX & Design team, you’ll collaborate with fellow Product Designers, UX Writers, and Researchers, enhancing our design practices and fostering a human-centered mindset throughout the company.
What you will do

Create strategic service blueprints, user journeys, and personas as the foundation for enhancing the store experience.
- Approach processes with a human-centered lens, involving all stakeholders affected by specific processes.
- Deliver design solutions that align with the overall service design strategy.
- Play a pivotal role in connecting our stores, production center, and online experience.
- Work closely with product managers, opticians, developers, and data experts, collaborating with fellow Product Designers and UX Researchers.
- Organize workshops and co-creation sessions involving stakeholders and participants from specific processes.
- Contribute to growing the design practice and fostering a human-centered approach company-wide.
What you will bring

Have proven experience in mapping services and processes, delivering multiple products and user experiences that are both delightful and focused on real customer needs – years of experience are not a very reliable metric for your skills
- Have deep experience in organizing workshops, facilitating and communicating clearly. You are confident in sharing knowledge and insights, explaining design rationales, building common understanding and co-creating involving stakeholders, and spreading excitement around customers’ needs
- Challenge the status quo and get at the root of problems, and take decisions leveraging both data and human insights from qualitative research
- Have remote work experience and you can strive in both virtual and in-person collaboration
- Professional level of German-speaking since you will have to interact with our store employees
- Have proven experience in both retail and online shopping experience
- Have previous experience with Figma and other design tools
