Working as a member of the Products Counseling Team, you will be responsible for partnering with multiple innovative product teams around the world to power prosperity for consumers and small businesses. Your specific focus will be working with the Quickbooks Workforce Solutions suite of products. For these products, you will ensure that Intuit’s products are structured to achieve our strategy while complying with applicable laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of regulations in the financial services area, including FCRA, state lending and payments laws, TILA, and have experience advising on advertising and marketing.

HOW YOU WILL LEAD

  • You will be the senior legal partner to the Workforce Solutions leadership team and partner closely with product management, business development, engineering, design, marketing, and compliance and operations teams.
  • You will provide legal advice and counseling on a wide variety of cutting edge matters, including data privacy and protection, product liability, IP and regulatory compliance. Many of these matters will be in the FinTech and MarTech areas, including payroll and employee time tracking products.. You may structure, draft, negotiate and advise upon various complex transactions with minimal direction and supervision. You will also provide legal advice and counseling on a wide variety of matters.
  • You should be comfortable with navigating through unknown/uncharted areas and seeking appropriate advice/guidance as well as ‘swim’ on your own in the ocean.
  • You should be passionate and tech-savvy with a solid understanding of product compliance as well as fintech-innovation generally – all to provide support to various work streams enabling product offerings to delight small businesses.
