POSITION SUMMARY:

• A senior product designer in the design and experience community, you will work closely with our colleagues in strategy, product, and engineering to design intuitive digital products and services that meet the needs of humans.
• We’re looking for talented individuals experienced in product design capabilities with strong communication skills to co-create next generation digital products and services with clients and colleagues.
• As part of this role, you will also be responsible for creating digital assets (such as; animation, video, graphic images files and multimedia presentations to name a few), in order to support the products and services you will work on.

MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Are an experienced senior designer with a strong passion for all things design; user research and testing to typography to colour, photography, motion, and animation.
• Are experienced in lean user experience and design, working iteratively to build, test and learn in collaboration with users, clients, and colleagues.
• Are experienced using an array of design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe, lnvision) to support you to do your work, but are also passionate about learning new tools and new ways of working.
• Have a sound understanding of digital technologies, which helps you work closely with engineers to bring to life ideas and next generation digital products and services.

• Are experienced in analysing and designing digital products, services and internet sites by applying a mixture of artistry and creativity with development. Your work helps clients understand what it takes to get them from strategy and ideas to in-market experiences that humans use.
• Are experienced in the design process and how to deliver human-centred design thinking processes, but experienced enough to know when the process needs to be changed to suit the circumstances.
• Are experienced in designing and developing digital animations, imaging, presentations, games, audio and video clips, and Internet applications using multimedia software, tools and utilities, interactive graphics, and programming languages.
• Are experienced in leading and mentoring designers, helping them shape their own career growth and skill set within the design and experience community
• Have a portfolio of award winning and industry leading work in digital or physical digital.
• Work seamlessly with strategy, product and engineering experts in cross-functional teams to be the voice of the customer and guide the vision of the experiences you’re creating. This includes communicating with technology specialists to not only create these experiences but to also tackle issues such as security, business continuity, data recovery and disaster recovery planning.
• Are experienced in guiding clients through the design process and rationalising product design decisions based on evidence.
• Have an understanding and be conscious of the role design and experience plays in delivering impact for businesses.
  Salary Range: >$100,000
