Senior Product Designer - Design System

The Design System is the foundation for delivering a seamless experience for our Merchants across all of SumUp’s world class products and services. By joining our newly formed Design System Team, you will support our entire organization in curating exceptional merchant and customer experiences. You will be part of a centralized design team that influences the overall direction of SumUp’s look & feel and ensure design quality across all facets of the UI including illustrations, motion, UX content and accessibility best practices.

• Drive the vision for SumUp’s Design System, extending and enhancing the existing component library to bring it to the next level, for both mobile and web
• Execute UI components and UX patterns with attention to detail, taking into consideration different use cases and incorporating OS developments and trends
• Proactively engage with the designers across the company to get feedback and optimize the experience across different touch points and platforms
• Support multi-disciplinary teams during implementation of the design system
• Evangelize the use of the Design System in the chapter, and maintain detailed documentation to facilitate its adoption
