Description:

As a Senior Product Designer (m/f/d), you will work in a cross-functional team delivering delightful experiences that will inspire and empower people to find, buy, and wear their glasses with joy and confidence.
As a part of the UX & Design team, you will collaborate with fellow Product Designers, UX Writers, and Researchers, growing the design practice and nurturing a human-centered mindset across the whole company.

What you will do

  • Work embedded in cross-functional teams together with products managers, developers, data and collaborate with fellow Product Designers, UX Researchers, UX Writers, brand and marketing
  • Deliver state-of-the-art omnichannel experiences bringing the human lens to the conversation
  • Create prototypes and conduct user tests, in order to rapidly validate ideas and hypotheses with real people
  • Guide product decisions leveraging qualitative and quantitative research insights and discover opportunities to improve our omnichannel experience
  • Develop processes and best practices to continually test, validate and deliver delightful omnichannel experiences through a user-centric approach
  • Collaborate with Design Ops to evolve our Design System and amplify the value and impact of design at scale
  • Mentor and coach fellow Product Designers

What you will bring

  • Have proven experience in delivering multiple products and user experiences that are both delightful and focused on real customer needs – years of experience are not a very reliable metric for your skills
  • Master interaction design, visual design, and user experience knowledge
  • Think omnichannel - you can design experiences and solutions that live seamlessly in-store and in digital touch points through different platforms, from mobile to desktop, passing through interactive displays
  • Strive to deliver state-of-the-art pixel-perfect omnichannel experiences that focus both on aesthetics and usability – design shouldn’t be just eye candy, it also has to be usable smoothly and meet user needs
  • Have experience in conducting user tests, interviews and generating actionable insights that are digestible from the broader organization
  • Have experience working with people from all types of backgrounds and expertise in a cross-functional and agile environment; especially in working closely with developers, product managers, data scientists and fellow designers

  • Facilitate and communicate clearly and convincingly in English. You are confident in sharing knowledge and insights, explaining design rationales, building common understanding involving stakeholders, and spreading excitement around customers’ needs.
  • Have remote work experience and you can strive in both virtual and in-person collaboration

  • Have proven experience in organising and facilitating workshops with stakeholders and collaborators
  • Have experience in managing people
  • Have proven experience in both retail and online shopping experience
