Description:
Overview
Studio W is a creative community of designers and researchers on a mission to create and deliver holistic customer experiences while imagining the post-search future. Between Edge, Bing, and apps, we’re creating end to end web experiences from shopping, to search, to ads, news, sports, and gaming. Our diverse team works collaboratively to create products and ideas that empower us to move fast to build seamless and delightful experiences for billions of customers worldwide.
We’re building a culture based on learning and creating meaningful experiences for our customers. We are seeking multi-skilled product designers with a mastery of visual design, experience design, interface construction, branding, and storytelling. We’re looking for a designer who’s driven by empathy for customers, and the desire to carry ideas from rough ideas to launch. The right candidate works independently and is a passionate collaborator with other design teams, engineering teams and marketing groups.
Within this studio, the Microsoft Start team is looking for a Senior Product Designer who can craft intuitive interfaces that encourage our users to actively connect with news content and participate in discussions to create a sense of community amongst our audience. More generally, this designer thrives at the intersection of user-focused innovation, system thinking and business acumen, as we integrate AI across Microsoft products, and to provide people with an assistive experience and the critical information they need to be productive, informed and inspired.
Finally, this designer defaults to a making and building mindset – when in doubt we build something and test it. Embracing quick prototyping and testing is critical to sucess in this role. You can learn more about the team at http://wxcteam.microsoft.com
If you’re passionate about technology, have a knack for creative ideas, and lead with a growth mindset, we want to hear from you!
