SENIOR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER – GLASGOW – £55-£65K

You will be responsible for leading the development of new products from concept to launch, as well as improving existing products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet customer needs and are delivered on time and within budget.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS SENIOR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical/manufacturing/material engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools like CAD, sufficient knowledge of CAE.
• Understanding of material properties and how they relate to stress, strain, and thermal behavior.
• The ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and optimize designs is crucial.
• Project management skills are essential.
