Responsibilities:

  • You will coordinate, plan and do the assessment of reliability and validation tests
  • Fill the PLM System with the accurate Process defined data
  • Align the Design- & Concepts with the core team, product management and other relevant functions

  • Lead root cause analysis in High Voltage connectors utilizing structured problem solving methods (8d, 5 Why, Fishbone)

Develop and Design innovative and strategic High Voltage and Current Connection Systems from the idea to series like Terminals, Housings, Charging Inlets & Charging Couplers including material definition etc. for the Mobility Industry

  • Investigate in innovative Manufacturing Technologies for High Voltage Connection Systems like EMPT, ultrasonic welding, higher automation degree etc.
  • Create in 3D and 2D and coordinate in the given CAD System (Autodesk Inventor)
  • M.Sc. in Engineering with focus Point on Mechanical or Mechatronic
  • Over 8 years of Experience in the Product Development of High Voltage Connectors for the Mobility Industry
  • Experience in automotive industry
  • Working knowledge in metals and relevant manufacturing processes like high-speed stamping and plating, as well as in Plastics, relevant manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) & FMEA
  • Working knowledge to apply Six Sigma/Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodology to design, development and delivery of technology products and process
  • Experience and Knowledge in manufacturing process of HV Connectors and the Industry Standards like LV 214, USCAR 2, LV 215
  • Working knowledge of product development (processes, approaches, tools and techniques) & validation in the mobility industry acc. To IATF 16949
