Description:

Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Strategy:
  • Lead the product management team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive product management strategy aligned with Red Hat IT’s overall business objectives, incorporating the various team charters outlined in the model document.
  • Conduct market research and user analysis to identify opportunities and define product vision for internal IT products and services.
  • Define product roadmaps and prioritize features based on user needs, business value, technical feasibility, and alignment with the team charters.
  • Product Management Execution:
  • Partner with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful development and launch of IT products aligned with the team charters.
  • Own the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond, focusing on continuous improvement and user satisfaction for internal IT products and services.
  • Develop and manage product requirements, ensuring they are clear, concise, measurable, and address the specific needs outlined in the team charters.
  • Track product performance metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement, ensuring alignment with team goals.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Effectively communicate product vision and strategy to all stakeholders across Red Hat IT, including leadership, engineering, and other teams impacted by IT products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product development aligns with business needs and the charters of the various product management teams.
  • Advocate for the needs of the user community and ensure their voice is heard throughout the product development process, particularly for products impacting specific user groups.

The salary range for this position is $131,810.00 - $217,490.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
