About the Job
As a Senior Product Manager at Checkfront, you demonstrate broad customer expertise and the ability to apply this knowledge strategically to meet company and product objectives. This role reports directly to the Head of Product (Core Booking Software) and is a key member of the product team.
You will work closely with stakeholders to develop and communicate the product roadmap You will be responsible for ensuring that product development is aligned with portfolio objectives. Develop the business case and primary problem statements for work opportunities, ensuring they align with portfolio objectives.

Some tasks you’ll be taking on

  • Define product requirements and prioritize features based on our current business needs and customer value
  • Monitor overall product performance against business objectives and KPIs, making adjustments as necessary to ensure continued success
  • Be the expert on the product and the customer, conducting competitive analysis and gathering feedback to refine the product’s positioning and features
  • Contribute to the product roadmap, communicating updates to stakeholders for your product segment or segments
  • Engage with strategic stakeholders to ensure the product aligns with business goals and customer needs
  • Analyze the value of proposed work in terms of cost of effort vs projected ROI, and prioritize work accordingly
  • Act as the conduit for external and internal customer feedback and requests, working with Product Owners to ensure that they are addressed in a timely manner
  • Responsible for leading Discovery initiatives to validate problems or opportunities, producing clear objectives for teams and Product Owners to refine and deliver tactically
  • Provide guidance and oversight to assigned Product Owners, ensuring their work is aligned with business objectives, goals and timelines

Ideally, you should have

  • At least 5 years of product management or product owner experience building a highly configurable product
  • Experience working in an agile software development environment as a product manager or product owner is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field
  • You have a passion for building great technology
  • You are highly organized and detail oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You’re confident in your knowledge levels, but also comfortable in saying you need to explore to learn more
  • Have a track record of building customer confidence
  • Highly motivated and driven to provide your best work possible
  • Experience working in a fast paced Agile environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate a clear vision, evangelize for your target market, and build excitement and pride for your solutions throughout the organization
  • Deep experience working closely with development teams that span full-stack and mobile development
