Description:

YOU’LL BE GREAT FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU HAVE:

  • 5+ experience in product management in leading international tech companies
  • Strong experience in the payments industry
  • Strong knowledge of compliance & legal requirements in the payments domain / AML
  • Experience building end-to-end solutions for efficient operational processes
  • Experience working with AML compliance and customer risk scoring
  • Customer-first thinking: experience in leading problem discovery to solution implementation
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to balance qualitative and quantitative insights to make the right business decisions
  • Solid background in working with cross-functional and remote teams
  • Experience in incremental software development with focus on fast product delivery and rigorous experimentation

SumUp’s Risk and Compliance Tribe enables and supports merchants to offer secure, state-of-the-art payment solutions for their businesses. This tribe plays a key role in working towards SumUp’s vision of operating a 360° full circle payments solution provider. The tribe is currently seeking a maternity leave cover for at least 12 months.
As Senior Product Manager Compliance / Financial Crime you will be a strategic leader for one of our squads, partnering with Senior Engineering Managers and reporting to the SVP of Risk and Compliance.

WHAT YOU’LL DO AS SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER COMPLIANCE / FINANCIAL CRIME:

  • Delivery: prioritize and organize backlog to drive impact, track, and drive squads’ OKRs
  • Discovery: find opportunities & create a roadmap to fulfill our compliance responsibilities
  • Partnership: identify pain points and keep stakeholders involved
  • Participate in agile team rituals, bring the product point of view and voice of the merchant / internal stakeholders to the table
  • Understand the impact of the team, track and share successes/failures
  • Encourage accountability within your team and create a strong two-way feedback loop
  • Measure the impact of both existing and new product features and growth experiments on our key metrics
