OVERVIEW:

Skillsoft is currently seeking a highly qualified Senior Product Manager to join the Ecosystem Integration Team. The Product Manager is responsible for driving and managing product releases based on the needs of customers and the business. This includes providing guidance on product dependencies, prioritizing needs, and making tradeoff decisions that impact releases. The Product Manager is responsible for defining the scope of present and future products and will work closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, User Experience Design, Marketing Communications, Sales, Customer Support and Consulting Technical Services departments.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Software Product Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, entrepreneurial start-up environment
  • Strong organization skills
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Experience with 3rd party integrations and system automation
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment
  • Vendor management experience
  • Working directly with clients
  • Experience with APIs, SAML SSO and SWAGER Docs is desired
  • Domain expertise including Web-based Learning and/or Training Business is desired
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence or other Agile software development tools is desired
  • Experience working with virtual teams is desired
