Job Description
The Senior Product Manager within the Semiconductor Marketing group is responsible for the product development, market positioning and commercial viability of INFICON’s gas, optical and RF sensors used primarily in the semiconductor industry. The Senior Product Manager owns the full product lifecycle, and works with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize new product introductions and market expansions while ensuring long-term sustainability of existing sensors in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement product strategies that align with INFICON’s vision
  • Maintain and expand market share of established products
  • Evaluate the market potential for new technologies using a lean startup approach
  • Lead a cross-functional team to execute on short- and long-term goals
  • Engage directly with worldwide customers field teams to validate product performance
  • Work closely with worldwide applications teams to maintain technical alignment with market needs
  • Negotiate commercial and legal agreements with key customers and technical partners
  • Own and execute on product roadmaps
  • Resolve internal and external product escalations
  • Manage and mentor a team of product, applications and/or service engineers
  • Regular reporting to senior management about key performance metrics

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Marketing, or technical discipline (engineering or sciences)
  • 8+ years of work experience with 5+ years of Product Management experience
  • Semiconductor industry experience preferred
  • Ability to motivate and lead across different parts of an organization
  • Comfortable presenting both high-level summaries and detailed information to diverse audiences
  • Data-driven approach to problem solving
  • Experience managing multiple, competing priorities. Seeks feedback and up-to-date information from multiple sources in order to adjust project plans as needed
  • Develop and execute roadmap strategy
  • Direct customer interaction that requires global travel (up to 20%)
    Additional Information
    For New York, the expected salary range for this position is between $100k and $150k per year. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
