Description:

Do you love to drive innovation and lead the integration of state-of-the-art AI technologies? We are looking for a Senior Product Manager in the Business Applications Platform team who will spearhead initiatives focused on low-code AI and Copilots, shaping the future of intelligent assistance and automation. You will play a key role in guiding product strategies and development for AI-based solutions that improve Copilot capabilities to manage complex enterprise processes. Your expertise will help create new opportunities in enterprise use of AI, delivering products that are not only technologically advanced but also intuitive and essential to users. You’ll be part of a dedicated team of product managers and software engineers in the Dataverse product group (including Dataverse, AI Builder, Connectors) who are committed to expanding the possibilities of what AI can achieve and how it can be applied to make enterprise users more productive.
Microsoft’s Business Applications Platform team is a global organization of elite engineers, world-class architects and delivery experts who work together to bring Microsoft’s mission of empowerment and cutting-edge technology to life for the world’s most influential customers. You’ll be a part of the Power Platform group, a low-code platform for quickly building customized end-to-end business solutions. It consists of five product areas: Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Pages. Each area can be used separately or together. Connected by the underlying Microsoft Dataverse and enabling AI applications via AI Builder, all areas are designed for a connected experience to achieve enterprise business goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND considerable experience in product management or software development

o OR equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in collaborative work management, project management, or productivity software products or services

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND subject matter expert in product/service/project/program management or software development
  • Experience delivering AI products or services.
  • Experience working with scaled distributed systems architecture and cloud computing environments.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a product leader within the Dataverse / AI Builder product group, providing customer-centric and data-driven thought leadership and direction setting.
  • Provide leadership and direction to orchestrate the overall delivery of high complexity, global programs.
  • Define and drive the product roadmap and priorities for AI investments and determine where/how best to leverage generative AI tools and systems within our portfolio.
  • Collaborate and align with multiple stakeholders across Microsoft, including engineering, design, research, marketing, sales, and support teams, to deliver end-to-end product experiences that delight customers and meet business objectives.
  • Conduct customer research, market analysis, benchmarking to identify customer needs, pain points, and opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Write compelling product specifications, user stories, and scenarios that outline customer needs and product requirements.
  • Measure and evaluate product performance and customer feedback using effective telemetry and analytics tools and iterate on product features and enhancements based on data and insights.
